1974 – Year 6
In year 6 we had Lapsley, Artuso & Roberts as teachers. Things I remember about year 6 is the dodgy drink machine near the canteen. I always seemed to get drink with no cup and had to get Fr. Tangey to fix things.
Another memory is being hit in the nuts whilst batting in the cricket nets. Hayden Rorke was bowling and it wasn’t a slow delivery. Nor would you expect slowness from the son of an Australian fast bowler Gordon Rorke!
